Travelex is a British-based company specializing in tourism exchange. Over 80 currencies and business in over 50 countries. They have over 1,250 ATMs around the world and also takes care of foreign currency services for partners including banks, supermarkets and travel agencies, extending over 100 countries and 20,000 locations include FX Africa in South Africa and Confidence Group, the largest consumer foreign exchange specialist in Brazil.
Innovation is on Travelex DNA, the biggest company of currency exchange in the world. Travelex is repositioning its brand in Brazil, taking new solutions to the market. Along with the changes of the segment, the brand improved its capacity of making its services more comfortable for the clients. As a result, Travelex has in its portfolio, online access through Internet Banking (IB), that makes the currency transactions easier.
After a intensive work of conception, in partnership with Dexence, and with the direction of Travelex executives, the new Internet Banking was launched. The project involved UX and Design Thinking techniques that gave to the new IB a more attractive and intuitive design, focused on the main necessities of the different clients profiles. “We went to the market to understand our clients needs to offer a simple and safe solution that answer the main doubts and difficulties of making a currency exchange. Through the new IB, the clients can make an appointment and close the currency exchange process, consult rates, and check the previous currency contracts made, with the goal to give autonomy and transparency for our clients”, states Arthur Pelanda, Head of Digital from the Confidence Bank in Brazil.
